Permanent identification and traceability of cervids

The cervids producers have until December 31, 2010 to identify their animals. All ear tags have to be activated by ATQ (even for animals that were identified before the entry of the law). If you have less than 6 cervids, the identification is not mandatory.
However, all cervids transported toward a slaughterhouse or a stakteholder must be identified following the established regulations. Please note that every owner and caretaker of cervids has to register with ATQ, regardless of the quantity they own or care for.
